Welcome to this custom mountain chalet overlooking scenic Slocan Lake and Valhalla Provincial Park!
1500 sq/ft 3 br/2 bath with full amenities and outstanding views along with lake access.
Features include fireplace, outdoor fire pit, huge deck and much more.
3 bedrooms including an superb master loft with soaker tub and spectacular shower.
Fully equipped spacious kitchen and huge dining area for all guests.
Satellite tv, dvd/cd players, as well as a cell booster for better service which may also allow you to create your own internet/Wi-Fi hotspot depending upon your service provider
Private access to the lake trail invites you for a scenic walk to the lake and dock which is close to an amazing waterfalls. Please note the lake trail takes about 10 minutes to get down and longer on the way back up due to the incline. There are areas to take a break along the way and enjoy the views majestic views of Valhalla. Those with mobility or health issues may require assistance.
Paddle boards, kayaks watercraft mooring can be made available at an additional charge.
There are many local shops, restaurants, etc in the surrounding towns along with outstanding hiking and cycling trails.
Covered motorcycle parking can be arranged for our two wheeled friends.
Please be advised that the road to the property Is well maintained however will require winter tires or all wheel drive during the winter months.

Summary: My husband and I just spent a week at this magical property overlooking Slocan Lake! The majestic views are absolutely breathtaking! It was a pleasure cooking in the well appointed kitchen! The massive deck houses a great well maintained BBQ and a large fire table where we enjoyed many glasses of wine around the fire under the stars! If you are looking for a quiet secluded spot for some RnR I highly recommend this property! We rent vacation properties every September and this was by far the most peaceful place we have been to! One of the best parts of our stay was Lyle the owner! He was fantastic to communicate with and a pleasure to deal with! The pride of ownership in this property is evident and appreciated! Can’t wait to go back!

Summary: EVERYTHING was fantastic. The property is in a beautiful area - the small hike/kayak from the property to the waterfall was awesome. The host, Lyle, was very gracious and so easy to communicate with. The chalet is lovely, super clean, comfortable, has everything you need. We had the best sleeps. Spectacular view of the lake. It's all top notch. Wish we could have stayed longer, and would stay again in a heartbeat!

Summary: well equipped with everything you could need for a week or more. Good internet speed, host was easy to communicate with. Be warned the beach is 110m vertical elevation climb from the property, so you need to be in decent shape, however 100% worth the hike for the beautiful dock and lake. Remote yet luxurious.

Summary: My family and pups had an absolutely wonderful time at Valhalla. Lyle was quick to answer any questions we had thoroughly, from finding the lake trail to how to tie up our boat. The lake is crystal clear and not busy at all which we loved. There are so many beaches, waterfalls, and more to explore with a paddle board or kayak. The cabin was spacious and clean, with a breathtaking view. Thank you for giving our family a wonderful home away from home!

Summary: Our week was amazing! The cabin was clean, comfortable, and well stocked with a view that never gets old. The lake is pristine and we all enjoyed time on the dock, jumping in the water, kayaking, and fishing. It is quite a trek down and back up, but worth it! The location is great for exploring the area. The hosts were super responsive and helpful. We hope to return!
